At the forthcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, the international boat show that will be held from 7 to 12 September, and at the Monaco Yacht Show, from 22 to 25 September, Baglietto will showcase its 40 m Motor Yacht Panam. The high-performing aluminum yacht was penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design, and the interiors were created by the design studio as well in cooperation with Margherita Casprini.
Equipped with the aluminum alloy hull and 3 MTU V16 2000 engines, the Panam can deliver outstanding performances and her 3 KaMeWa waterjets push the yacht to a maximum speed of 31 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 25. The four aft hatches have been built in carbon fiber to reduce the yacht’s weight.
The yacht is characterized by the sleek, wedge-shaped profile, the powerful stern, the vertical bow, and the large, dark, geometrically-cut windows that flood the interiors with plenty of natural light.
Inside, warm light wood in soft shades of grey and dove grey has been used for the sandblasted oak floors and the striped oak vertical wall cladding. The furnishings are made of leather and glass details. The bathrooms make use of onyx and marble, selected together with the Owner.
The layout features a large saloon on the main deck, separated from the dining area by a “green” wall. At the bow, the full-beam master stateroom has a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with Hammam. An additional child room has also been fitted in the master cabin.
The lower deck features four guest cabins and a professional galley. Forward, on the same deck, the crew area includes the captain’s cabin, 2 double cabins, the laundry, and the dinette. The partially floodable garage, accommodating a 17′ tender, is located behind the engine room. Directly connected to the pleasant aft beach area, 3 of its sides can be folded down and converted into 3 terraces. The beach platform transformer provides easy access to the sea.
The 65 sq. m flybridge features a large custom-made swimming pool with a counterflow system and a customized bar counter with a sliding top designed by Studio Paszkowski. An additional sunbathing area is located forward.
